DIY: rainbow crayons

for months now i have been saving every little bit of broken crayon, keeping broken pieces from restaurants, and prying half chewed chunks from the dogs mouth...all for this moment. one of my favorite childhood memories: the rainbow crayon! these rainbow crayons are so easy to make and also teach a hidden message about recycling.

you will need:
old broken crayons
muffin tin
muffin liners

step 1:
pre-heat oven to 300 degrees. gather all your supplies.
remove all the paper from the crayons.

step 2:
break all the crayons into 1/2 inch or smaller pieces.
fill the liners with the broken pieces of crayons.

step 3:
bake for 5-7 minutes. watch closely they will melt quickly,
but you don't want them to burn.

step 4:
let cool for 30 minutes
before removing the paper liners.
then let sit over night before using.
enjoy.
